Since I'm SINGLE... things for me to think about...

Hey... i haven't had time to blog and I have to post SOMETHING!





1. Would you date someone who smokes? No way. That's always been one of my rules. However, I met my exhusband online and forgot to ask. It was a point of contention for us the whole time.

2. Would you date someone who was addicted to drugs? No, no, no, no, no. I won't date an alcoholic either. Not even a recovered one. They don't always stay recovered!


3. Would you date someone who was outside your race? Probably. My priorities on looks are so different now. If the spark is there, the looks on the outside don't really matter. Gotta have that spark though!


4. Whats your biggest turn off? GAMES. this is a gripe I hear a lot from guys, but more guys I know play games than girls I know!


5. Whats your biggest turn on, physically? gosh, I don't know if I can limit it to just one thing! I suppose the size of his... brain.

6. Is religion important to you? Yes. Although I would date someone outside of my religion/denomination, it is a "must have" if it turns exclusive. My church family is important to me.

7. Most hurtful relationship? No doubt about it. Steve. I gave him my heart, soul and spirit to where there was barely anything left of me for me.

8. Have you ever regretted breaking up with someone? Once. In high school! But I definately learned a lesson from that one about always waiting until I am calm to make decisions.


9. Have you ever dated someone more than once? I've had people that i've dated on and off, but nothing serious. If a serious relationship ends, then I'm done.


10. Do you miss any of your exes? I don't know if you can call Marc an ex. but I miss talking to him everyday and what could have been. I'm grateful for his friendship. I miss my first husband a lot. We had a fantastic relationship and I don't think either of us actually wanted to get divorced. i wanted kids and he didn't though so it was the right thing to do and I don't regret it.



11. If you could go on ONE DATE with any celebrity, who would it be? Alton Brown.



12. What's your relationship status? Single. I date, but nothing exclusive.



13. What's the sweetest thing someone you dated did for you? The first birthday Karl and I were together, he did a scavenger hunt thingie to my bday present. the notes led me to the trunk of his car where in it was stashed a Talbot print that I had always wanted. I still have it.



14. Last time you got flowers? Jody gave me a beautiful Sunflower the last night of Alpha. I get myself flowers all the time because I love them. Who has time to wait for a man to bring them???


15. Are you ready to get into a serious relationship right now? I'm not looking, but if the right person lands at my feet, I won't run away.

16. Do you like cuddling? Of course!


17. Do you hold grudges? For the most part, no.



18. Do you regret dating anyone? There was a guy I dated after high school graduation that I wish I hadn't dated. Not really a regret, but a waste of my time.



19. Hugger or kisser? Love both.


20. Missing someone? I don't think so.


21. Most important lesson you've learned from your exes? I can't be happy for someone else. I can only be happy for me. If they aren't happy with themselves, then it's not going to be a fun relationship.

22. Would you live with someone if you were in love with them? I don't think so. That never turns out well!

23. Are you happier single or in a relationship? Definately in a relationship. I'm enjoying being single though. I learned in my Rebuilding workshop that many of us are happier while in a relationship and there's nothing wrong with that. I'd rather be single though than in an unhealthy relationship.

24. Whats the most important thing in a relationship? Honesty and communication.

25. What would make you break up w/ someone...no questions asked? Dishonesty, having an affair, finding out they were manipulative.



26. Have you ever loved someone who didn't love you back? Who hasn't???


27. Would you date someone who was broke all the time? No way. Steve was like that. I am a rescuer and men who are broke all the time tend to be best at taking advantage of that.


28. How important are looks? What I find good looking is very very important. However, my sense of good looking has been challenged more than one time.


29. How do you know when you are in love? I'm working on this one. I seem to have a skewed perception of infatuation and being in love.



30. Do you consider yourself shy? ROFLMAO. um, NO.


31. Would you rather date someone who was SUPER-HOT or someone who was super nice? Super nice but super confident. If a man doesn't know what he wants and how to get it, it's not going to matter in the end anyway!


32. Have you ever been turned down or turned someone down? Yep.

33. Have you ever been ashamed of anyone you were dating? Probably. I can't think of an example though.


34. Do you currently want to date anyone? Yep. definately.



35. Thing that made you the happiest today? Watching my girls in their Christmas pageant.

36. Would you ever date anyone your parents disapproved of? Sure. I'm the one dating the person, not my mom.



37. Do you stay friends w/ the people you date? Most of the time.


38. Are you in love with anyone now? Nope.


39. Would you fight over someone you wanted to be with? No way. In early college I was stupid and raced with another girl downing kamakazi's. I was sick with alcohol poisoning for a week. Lucky to be alive!


40. Do you kiss on the 1st date? Sure!


41. Would you date someone A LOT older or younger than you? I usually go for men who are about 10 years older than me. But yes, i'd date a wide range of ages now.

42. Does the person you currently like know you like them? Dunno.


43. Ever been cheated on? Yep.


44. Do you think the word 'love' is overused? No. I think it is underused to the people we really love.


45. Ever been called a whore? Other things, yes. but I don't think i've been called that one. at least not to my face.


46. Favorite memory with an ex? Drawing a blank on this one! I have a lot of good memories. Not sure if I can pick just one!

47. If someone cheated on you, would you take them back if you really loved them? Heck no! I have learned some lessons in life!
